Children's Nursery Rhymes

Most songs have rhymes!

Tale as Old as Time (from 'Beauty and the Beast')

Tale as old as time
True as it can be
Barely even friends
Then somebody bends
Unexpectedly

Just a little change
Small to say the least
Both a little scared
Neither one prepared
Beauty and the beast

Ever just the same
Ever a surprise
Ever as before
Ever just as sure
As the sun will rise

Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Bitter sweet and strange
Finding you can change
Learning you were wrong

Certain as the sun
Rising in the East
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the beast

Yesterday (the Beatles)

Yesterday
All my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday

So what's the point? Most songs have rhymes. When you listen to songs, try to hear the rhymes. Rhymes will help you guess the word.
